Status report: Forgot to update the status last time, but messy events now make it hard. Short summary is that Tripod seems to be closer to death than usual. Still haven't ported the code, though I used an AI (Deep Seek) to make a version of the 'perpetual calendar' utility that can run locally. I should be feeling more urgency to get loose from Tripod since it seems increasingly certain that Tripod will die before I do...
