Status report: An update of the DOSBox emulator greatly improved the performance. However the corruption of the author database is
still happening from time to time. Less of a nuisance since the repair is more rapid, but still a reason to switch the entire thing
to a new platform... I went ahead and added a new dBase II utility program to check the author database. (That actually found some
more problems in that database.) Also created a fully automated version of the perpetual calendar. Quite easy for DeepSeek to take
my own JavaScript code and combine it with some of the stuff I created using ChatGPT. The table part of this webpage was
generated with the new version, so a tip of the hat to DeepSeek.
